April 2025 - Coppell, TX

In 1958, the Coppell Fire Department was organized to serve the City of Coppell, Texas.  Located in Northwest Dallas County, the Department covers 15 square miles with a population of approximately 45,000 residents and responds to Fire, EMS, and technical rescue incidents.

The Department is an ISO Class 1 rated department and is staffed with 103 personnel and operates out of 5 strategically located stations staffing 3 Engines, 3 Medics, 1 Quint, 1 Truck and 1 Battalion Chief. As part of a regional asset, Rescue 121 responds to confined space, collapse, and trench rescue incidents area-wide. Firehouse 4 was opened in 2021 on the west side of the city, which is primarily comprised of large warehouses and major highways. Currently, the station houses Quint 124 and Blocker 124 and is staffed with four personnel. The logo’s correlation is to the area of the city that was once known as the Wagon Wheel Ranch.
